KVKK Privacy Notice

Karun Sigorta Aracılık Hizmetleri (“Karun Sigorta”, the “Company” or the “Data Controller”) processes personal data in accordance with Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). This notice informs visitors, quote/contact form users, policy holders and anyone contacting our office.

• Security: IP address, browser data, cookies, session logs.
• Marketing preferences: Only with your explicit consent.

• Insurance brokerage: quotes, policy issuance, renewals and claims support.
• Responding to contact/quote requests.
• Contractual and legal obligations; record-keeping.
• Information security and fraud prevention.

4. Legal Bases

Processing is based on KVKK Articles 5 and 6 — notably contract formation/performance, legal obligation, legitimate interests (without harming your fundamental rights), and explicit consent where required.

5. Transfers

Data may be shared with partner insurers, IT/hosting providers, and competent public authorities, within the purposes above and under KVKK Articles 8–9.

6. Retention

Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes and statutory retention periods applicable to insurance/commercial records, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised under KVKK.

7. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You may request to learn whether your data is processed, obtain information, learn the purpose, know recipients, request correction/deletion, object to automated outcomes, and claim compensation for unlawful processing.
